Tour Itinerary
Day 1. Ulaanbaatar / Western Mongolia, Khovd province
Meet at the hotel. Transfer to the airport for morning flight to Khovd city.
Upon arrival, enjoy a city tour and have a lunch. Then drive to the Khar Us Nuur National park to the east 40 km from Khovd city and will follow the beach of Khar Us lake. Keep your cameras handy and catch the photo opportunities along the way. Drive to the northwest 65 km from the Khar Us lake to the ger camp. Have a dinner and overnight stay in a ger camp. (L/D)
Day 2. Cave of Gurvan Senkher,
After breakfast try on the traditional costumes of zakhchin ethnic group & take your own photos. Then we will drive to the Rock paintings of Nukhen Utug. Have a lunch at tourist ger camp. In the afternoon, we will visit cave of Gurvan Senkher. After visit and enjoy to explore caves with some of the oldest known rock art in Central Asia. Have a dinner and overnight stay in a ger camp. Day 3. Fly back to Ulaanbaatar
In early morning, drive to Khovd city and transfer to the local airport for morning flight to Ulaanbaatar. Upon arrival around 10am at the city airport, transfer to your hotel in Ulaanbaatar. (B)
