DAY 1: Arrival in Ulaanbaatar
Arrival in Ulaanbaatar and transfer to the hotel. Half or full day city tours are available.

DAY 4: Ulaanbaatar-Ulgii
Fly to Ulgii, after early breakfast we drive to Tavan Bogd National Park. Along the way, we will find numerous petroglyphs and Turkic stones and picnic lunch. Bayan-Ulgii is rich in archaeological remains, as a reminder of the Bronze Age and the time of the Huns and Turkic invasions. Reach to Ger camp. Overnight in Kazakh or Mongolian ger. (B/L/D)
DAY 7: Exploring the Twin Lake Area, hiking-driving-horse riding
These days you relax and swim, fish and explore amazing mountainous area. These days you can see and learn regular day life of nomads and their tradition. Like horse riding, fishing and hiking around. Also, we see the snowcapped mountains with forest, which make the wall between China and Mongolia and some beautiful waterfalls. Overnight at yurts (nomads tent) or camping(B/L/D)
DAY 10: Arrival to Ulaanbaatar& city tour
After breakfast fly to Ulaanbaatar, transfer to Chinggis Khaan hotel.
DAY 2: Horse racing Ulaanbaatar 80km
After breakfast drive to Hui Doloon Hudag for the horse racing event of the Naadam Festival. Enjoy watching horse races and immersing in the atmosphere. Afterwards drive back to the hotel in Ulaanbaatar. (B/L/D)
DAY 5: Tavan Bogd Massif, total 34km horse ride or hiking up and down
Today we hike full day and during the hiking we can see the glaciers and Tavan Bogd massif. Tavanbogd means “The Holy Five", referring to the five highest peaks, of which Huiten Uul is the highest in Mongolia, 4374 meters above sea level. There we see 20km long Potanina glacier – the biggest of the twenty glaciers in Mongolian Altai. Overnight in Kazakh or Mongolian ger. (B/L/D)
DAY 8: Drive back to Ulgii city and visit Eagle Hunters Family, 170km drive
Drive back towards Ulgii, on the way we visit to Kazakh eaglehunters family. See the magnificent eagles and learn about eagle-hunting. Eagle-hunters typically use female birds because they are bigger, stronger, and more aggressive than their male counterparts. Hunters typically keep their birds for 10 years before releasing them back into the wild. Overnight at South River Camp. (B/L/D)
DAY 11: Departure from Ulaanbaatar
DAY 3: Mongol Naadam
Attend the opening ceremony of the Naadam Festival plus a Naadam Gala Dinner and Folk Concert in the evening. The highlight of the Mongolian festival calendar, the Naadam Festival dates back several centuries and takes place each year on July 11-13. Originally a test of a nomad’s aptitude, it requires strength, stamina, accurate marksmanship and skillful horsemanship. Given the equine nature of nomadic life, much importance is placed on the horse races. Drawing herdsmen from hundreds of miles around and townsfolk alike, races are staged on the vast steppes covering distances of up to 20 miles. We highly recommend booking early for our Naadam Festival tour.

DAY 6: Twin Lake Area of Altai Tavan Bogd , 130km drive
Today we drive to Twin lake area. We will pitch our camp near to Nomadic family. We are now only 10km from the China border. Overnight in Kazakh ger or camp. (B/L/D)
DAY 9: Arrival to Ulgii and city tour
After lunch we will arrive to Ulgii city and transfer to your Hotel. After that we will do shopping and visit local market, mosque and Friendship peak of the city where you can see the whole city from the top of the Friendship mountain. Overnight at Hotel. (B/L/D)
